Harley and Kacey are go-to experts in cleaning. They established their business in October 2023 and are servicing the Shepparton and surrounding areas with specialised cleaning services whether it is commercial, residential, childcare, or schools, etc.
They wanted to create a professional and reliable cleaning service that not only supported their community but also gave them the freedom to grow a lasting business for their family.

Harley and Kacey’s Business
We started Shepparton Cleaning Service in October 2023. Our business offers general cleaning services, like big clean-ups for houses and businesses, window cleaning, carpet cleaning, and general maintenance cleaning. We want to take the stress away from people and give them peace of mind that their home or workplace will be clean and well looked after.
When we first started, we had around three staff members, and the business was earning about 10 to 15 grand a month. Since working with Many Rivers, we have grown so much. Now, less than a year later, we have 10–11 employees, and our revenue has grown by 300%. It has been a big journey, but the growth shows us that we are heading in the right direction.
What is driving you to grow your business?
One part is the financial security, but the biggest reason is wanting to be self-sufficient and have more time with our family and kids. Having our own business gives us flexibility and the chance to shape our future. Later on, we may even sell the business as a profitable one, but for now, we are focused on growing it.
Working with Many Rivers
We started working with Gina from Many Rivers, and she has been incredible. She has coached us on business strategy, financial literacy, and general business support. We still meet with Gina once a month to check in on our growth, share new ideas, and keep the business on track.
The workshops by Many Rivers were very helpful for our business growth. They gave us a clear way to visualise what we wanted and how to get there. They put us on the right track early on, and that has made all the difference.
At the start, we could not picture how much we could grow. Now, with the support of Many Rivers, we can see the potential in our business, and we are now thinking bigger about both revenue and how many people we can employ in our business.

We are definitely moving towards our goals. At first, it felt like a big dream, but now we can see it happening step by step. Our goals are still the same, but now they feel much more achievable.
Biggest Challenge
Cashflow is always something we are working on. It is also a challenge to find and keep good quality staff while making sure our service stays at a high standard as we grow.

Future Goals
We are still in the growth phase and want to keep expanding. Our next goal is to grow the business to $1.5 to $2 million.
