Meet Jessie Mordey, the small business owner of Zomered Style, an Indigenous art business based in Hervey Bay, QLD. Jessie was born and raised in Tamwoy Town on Waiben (Thursday Island) and is a proud Torres Strait Islander woman. She is a descendant of the Dauareb and Komet Clan, as well as the Kemer Kemer Meriam Nation and Maluilgal Wakaid Clan from Badhu (Badu) Island. Her art is a vibrant celebration of her heritage, blending ancestral stories and symbols into contemporary designs that express both culture and identity.
