Community Economic Work

Numburindi Development Aboriginal Corporation is a culturally governed organisation focused on strengthening community capability through culture, education and locally led services. Current work includes revitalising the Wubuy language through education and training local people to become registered language teachers, alongside youth engagement and employment pathways. NDAC is also working with community to prepare for future domestic, family and sexual violence prevention initiatives. These areas of work are informing the development of the Relational Governance methodology, which is designed to sit across community programs and ACCO administration to measure outcomes through relational and behavioural change while maintaining cultural leadership and accountability.
