I am the General Manager of Umoona Community Council (UCCI), an Aboriginal Community Controlled organisation based in Coober Pedy. In this role I oversee the delivery of community services, organisational governance and economic development initiatives that support Aboriginal families and the broader regional community.
I have been involved in initiatives focused on building a stronger local economy and improving services in Coober Pedy. Key areas include:
• Developing strategic plans for the community council.
• Supporting new community enterprises, including
1. tourism and cultural initiatives linked to the Umoona Art Centre.

4. Service Station 1
5. Umoona Opal Mine – 1
6. Playgroup Cafe
7. Solid Mulga Yard Cleaning and Handy Man Services
• Seeking funding for projects such as community businesses and facilities that create local jobs.
