Secretary –
Neporendi Aboriginal Forum Inc

Leader Biography

I am a Southern Arrernte and Arabana man born in Alice Springs and currently living and working in South Australia. I work as the Director of Aboriginal Clinical Services and Strategy with Drug and Alcohol Services South Australia (DASSA), where I focus on developing culturally appropriate responses to alcohol and other drug issues affecting Aboriginal communities. I am also a Board Member and Secretary of Neporendi Aboriginal Forum Inc., supporting community-led initiatives that strengthen cultural connection, wellbeing, and opportunities for Aboriginal families, youth, and Elders. My interests include community governance, culturally informed service models, and supporting community-led solutions that create long-term social and economic benefits.

Community Economic Work

Neporendi Aboriginal Forum Inc. is exploring a number of community-led economic and social initiatives that support local Aboriginal families and young people. This includes developing opportunities connected to youth engagement, community programs, and social enterprise activities that create pathways for employment, skills development, and cultural connection. We are also interested in learning from other Communities about successful community-led business models and economic development approaches that support long-term sustainability and self-determination.
