Leader Biography

Neil Marshall is the Chairperson of the Nyul Nyul PBC Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC, representing the Nyul Nyul people whose native title lands lie along the western side of the mid‑Dampier Peninsula in the West Kimberley. He provides cultural and governance leadership across Beagle Bay Community and a large number of outstations spread across Nyul Nyul Country, leased by both Traditional Owners and non‑Traditional Owners. His work focuses on upholding cultural authority, strengthening community decision‑making, and advancing social and economic opportunities that keep the community connected to Country, heritage, and family.

Community Economic Work

– NIAA PBC Capacity Building Grant to enable employment of CEO, Project Officer and Administrative Officer.

– Cultural Mapping of whole of Nyul Nyul country including identification of economic precincts such as eco-tourism, aquaculture and horticultural.

– Development of micro-enterprises at Beagle Bay to foster growth of small business.
