I am currently the General Manager and an active Elder in our Community. I have been involved with CHAC since the 1990s. From around 2008, I worked with CHAC as a youth worker for approximately two years. In that role, I primarily supported young people and their families, including mentoring in schools, advocating in court, arranging accommodation, and assisting with life management.
I later served on the CHAC Board and for a period as Chair. Throughout my involvement, a key priority has been advocating for greater recognition of CHAC and other Aboriginal organisations. I have also maintained constructive relationships with governments, funding bodies, and other key stakeholders.
