My family connections are from the Nullarbor Plains, the Mirning Tribe. Born and raised in Port Lincoln SA, educated in Adelaide SA.
As Chief Executive Officer of Scotdesco Aboriginal Corporation since 2002 (23+ years), I have overseen transformation of a small, deeply disadvantaged community into a diversified enterprise with multiple revenue streams and significant employment outcomes.
Under my leadership, Scotdesco has experienced the full effects of Climate Change and the draught, once a farming community (6000 sheep and cropping wheat) to a community which is environmentally friendly and looking at Tourism and Cultural Awareness Programs for School and Corporate to created employment and generating sustainable income for the community.
