Many Rivers Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

Many Rivers is thrilled to announce the appointment of Nathan Hawkins as its new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding John Burn who stepped down after an impactful nine-year tenure. This transition marks a significant milestone in the organisation’s journey towards continued impact and excellence.
Peter Cadwallader, Chairman of Many Rivers, expressed his gratitude to John Burn for his invaluable contribution, and welcomed Nathan Hawkins into his new role. “John has been instrumental in establishing a strong foundation for Many Rivers. We’re excited to have Nathan, with his proven track record and deep understanding of our strategic goals, to lead us into this new chapter,” said Cadwallader.
Nathan Hawkins, transitioning from Interim CEO and former Head of Business Development, brings a diverse and rich background to his new role. With over two decades of experience spanning academia, non-profit leadership, and entrepreneurship, Nathan is well-equipped to steer Many Rivers towards its vision and strategic objectives.
During his tenure as Interim CEO, Nathan has already made significant strides, including a review of the organisation’s Vision and Strategic Plan, recruitment in client and community programs, diversifying funding, and expanding strategic partnerships.
