Damian Kay
Regional Manager Microenterprise Development | Northern Territory
Damian has more than twenty years of experience in executive leadership, entrepreneurship and business development across the technology, telecommunications and small business sectors. He began his career as a co founder and CEO, building a telecommunications enablement company from start up to a national market leader supporting more than 500 retail service providers across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
As CEO and Managing Director of a publicly listed technology group, Damian led a team of more than 400 staff across Australia and the Philippines, growing the organisation to more than $100 million in revenue within five years. He successfully guided the company through its IPO, led multiple acquisitions and helped build a high performance culture recognised as one of Australia’s top places to work.
Damian joined Many Rivers in 2023 as a Microenterprise Development Manager and became a Regional Manager in 2024. He is motivated by a desire to apply his commercial experience to support aspiring and existing small business owners on their journey.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
