Our business coaches support people from many different of backgrounds, to start all sorts of businesses.
One of the questions we get asked most is what type of business do we support. Would we consider supporting a new and innovative business idea. The answer is simple – Yes!
At Many Rivers, our goal is to support people to overcome the barriers they are facing to start their own businesses.
Nearly half of Many Rivers supported businesses are female owned which is above the national average of 35% of small businesses owners being female. 38% of the small businesses that we support are owned by indigenous people.
Many Rivers Community Economic Development provides support to regional and remote Indigenous communities who want to establish or grow economic activity on their land. This program has been running from 2015 and is 100% Indigenous focused. We work in some of the most remote locations to reach these communities that would like support to achieve economic outcomes.
