From 5–12 July, Australians will come together to celebrate NAIDOC Week 2026.
This year’s theme, “Fifty Years of Deadly”, celebrates 50 years of recognising the strength, resilience and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It honours the generations of leaders, Elders, artists, business owners and communities who have shaped a stronger future and continue to inspire the next generation.
Celebrating Strength Through Enterprise
At Many Rivers, we see this legacy every day.
Across Australia, Indigenous entrepreneurs are building businesses that create jobs, strengthen communities, preserve culture and generate opportunities for future generations. Community organisations are developing enterprises that keep skills, decision-making and economic benefits within community.
These stories show that business is about more than economic success. It is about self-determination, leadership and creating lasting opportunities.
Looking Ahead
As we celebrate this milestone, we also look to the future.
Many Rivers is proud to walk alongside Indigenous entrepreneurs and communities as they build businesses, grow local economies and create lasting impact.
This NAIDOC Week, we celebrate 50 years of deadly achievements-and the generations who will continue to shape Australia’s future.
