Joy has a background in financial services with 14 years experience in marketing, sales and management roles. She has successfully started and operated three businesses in different industries including marketing and training, gardening and sports. As a business coach, Joy is inspired to make a difference in peoples lives. She describes her role as to, “work with people and help them build a new, sustainable life through small business.”
“The client group that we work with have had a lot of set backs. I feel it is a privilege and a responsibility to work with this group and to give them new hope to move forwards.”
Joy explains, “being a business coach is about creating passion and enthusiasm. We move people on from a place of feeling lost in the world to giving them a sense of direction and we do this by building on their skills, hopes desires and dreams.”
“We help them have a reason to get out of bed in the morning. Giving them something that they feel passionate about that provides an income for their family and helps them live a fulfilling life.”
“A large part of my job is listening to the client and also motivating them. I let them see the strengths that they have. If they are willing and committed to work hard together we can achieve great things.”

“A lot of my clients have not had a lot of good role models in their life. Their journey in life has been rough. Others have gotten caught up in addictions and other challenges and some have just been born into a difficult situations. There are a wide variety of challenges that we deal with day in and day out.”
